ABSTRACT

In the TRP, the pragmatic and technically oriented Norwegian road building traditions have advanced towards a nationally orchestrated and politically informed aesthetics of nature as part of a built and choreographed environment. The TRP raises new questions as to how Norway conceives of its nature, and how landscape installations display, interpret, inform and mirror nature, as well as our experience of it.
