Thischapterpresentssomefundamentaldistinctionsbetweentheterms ergonomics,humanfactors,andmaintenanceresourcemanagement.The focus,however,isonmaintenanceresourcemanagement(MRM)because maintenancepersonnelhavethemostopportunitiestopracticerisk managementinthatdomain.FourgenerationsofMRMprograms, effectivenessofMRMprograms,andimplementationstrategiesare discussedinthischapter.
