ABSTRACT

Over the last decade, the objectives and policy instruments of urban regeneration in Berlin changed significantly. Gradually, a former fordist mode of renewal dominated by large-scale physical interventions in inner-city areas and in peripheral housing estates has been transformed into a more integrated and discursive approach to urban regeneration.
