ABSTRACT
During the development of the living with teenagers programme and the development of the Centre, the two themes of empowerment and anti~ discriminatory practice have been central to our thinking and action. We will look at each of these concepts in rum and at the theoretical background and practical implications of these for our living with teenagers groupwork programme. The practical application of these theoretical concepts to the living with teenagers programme is dealt with in detail in Chapters 8-13.
