ABSTRACT

The fust three of these are training evaluations of the individual and can be used to develop and provide feedback to the person being trained (i.e., the lSD Model shown in Chapter 8, Figure 8.1 ). Each of these can also be useful to the teacher providing the training. The fourth fonn is a transfer evaluation to show the effect of the program has on the system or world and is particularly important to the sponsors and developers of the training program. Each fonn requires a different approach. In this chapter we will show how each of these forms have been used in research to date on pilot judgment and suggest how they might be better used in future assessments of judgment.
