ABSTRACT
This chapter aims to provide participants with practical knowledge of steps they can take to keep safe. It identifies potential areas of risks in their work. The chapter describes practical steps they can take to keep safe in the course of their work. It develops an action plan describing the steps they will take. The chapter changes the way they work. It brings about changes in procedures to ensure safety. The chapter obtains help, support and resources they need. Each individual should identify in their action plans: tasks or activities they will perform differently to minimize any risks to them; support, help, equipment, and so on, they will try to obtain in order to make their jobs safer. The chapter shows how they will try to bring about any changes in procedure / practice to minimize the risk of violence at work.
