ABSTRACT
Health care involves travel to the usual place of work; to other organizations; to visit patients at home or in hostels, hospitals or prison, and to attend meetings in a variety of settings. It may also involve overnight stays in hotels. These guidelines are designed to help the individual worker to take sensible precautions to protect personal safety when away from the usual place of work.
