ABSTRACT

This chapter provides an overview, setting, logistics, instructor hints, and possible modifications of the following games: Games without Borders, Labyrinth of the World and Paradise of the Heart, Mars Venus, Nexus VI, Night Images, Stalker, and Triffids. Psychological and physical game inspired by the film Stalker by Andrei Tarkovsky. Stalker chooses a group of people, wakes them up at dawn and takes them on the journey through ‘the Zone’. The figure of Stalker is extremely important and sets the tone for the whole game. The game Nexus VI is inspired from the film Blade Runner by Ridley Scott. Psychological and physical game inspired by the film and novel The Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham. Psychological, staged, non-structured game focused on reflecting on life’s choices, values, attitudes and life orientation. Instructors should actively be involved in the game as it helps to overcome any initial shyness.
