ABSTRACT
Section 8.2.3 above concluded that the amoral “selfishness” of the evolutionary process was not only not evil, but was a positive good in that it was the means of bringing about God’s good creation of living things – including the intelligent ones who in turn would create what we know as culture. What, then, went wrong? How did “the mainspring of evolution” end up as “original sin”?
