ABSTRACT
Having explored issues of risk and enjoyment, and the way that they interact for riders and drivers, this chapter returns to issues linked to task difficulty. Fuller’s model of Task difficulty Homeostasis was discussed in Chapter 3. As described earlier, task difficulty is an important aspect of road user behaviour and therefore merits a discussion on how motorcycle riding is affected by it.
