ABSTRACT

Leaders know that communication is vital to change and want to use it as a strategic tool. How exactly they should use it to best advantage is less clear to them. How they should use their internal communicators may also be unclear. They want support from communication strategists but feel they get message crafters and drafters instead. Communicators, on the other hand, may want to fill the crucial role of communication strategists, but feel that they are being used too often as writers and editors.
