ABSTRACT
This is a book about projects but Images of Projects is not another college textbook and nor is it a quick reference guide that over simplifies or trivializes the subject. It is for people who intuitively know that the real-world is more complex than the textbook or one-week guide suggests, but also recognize that relying just on experience is not always the most effective approach. So, how can this book help? In the course of the next few pages, we seek to summarize the book’s aim and rationale, the main ideas and how they can be used in different situations, the intended audiences and how the book is structured. Finally, in the Appendices section, we briefly summarize the main theoretical foundations of Images of Projects and how the ideas have been developed.
