ABSTRACT
Nevertheless, i share my limited knowledge about this topic with many of my fellow citizens, to whom medical and biological specialists are accountable: this includes non-experts such as politicians who write research policy, entrepreneurs and journalists, all of whom experts try to win over for their research interests. Also part of this group are scientists who, as a part of the academic self-governing system, regularly make decisions about research and doctrine in disciplines completely outside their area of expertise.
