ABSTRACT
This chapter examines the efficacy of the framework and approach that was advocated in Chapter Five. The detailed results presented in the previous chapter are examined in the first instance and comparisons to past research in this field are made. The effectiveness of this research and its relatedness to the work presented here is examined. The chapter then moves on to consider how the literature-based framework developed in Chapter Five can be amended in order to take full account of the results presented in Chapter Seven. The amended framework is assessed and examined in terms of the likely efficacy of such a framework. Finally, the chapter examines the policy context and uses the results from Chapter Seven in order to arrive at practical policy recommendations that can be derived from the statistical analyses.
