ABSTRACT
In common a core team with a shared vision or mission focused on the needs of a wider network. The core team still has the challenge of developing dream-team characteristics. The temporary teams are therefore at the early stages of development. The process can be seen as one in which the network activators have the creative leadership role of accelerating the transition through the form and storm stages within one-off team sessions. Police trainees had used elements of the creative problem-solving approach in their facilitation and group training to put together their own guide for force facilitators. Some of the creativity has been directed towards military applications that remain top secret. Rijkswaterstaat is the Directorate General of Public Works in the Netherlands. It has encouraged a form of creative teamwork in support of major policy-shaping and implementation.
