ABSTRACT
The purpose of this chapter is to defend the idea of global citizenship via an examination of the question: what are the relationships between global citizenship, globalization and citizenship? At first sight it may appear that there is an outright conflict between all three of them, but I shall argue for a broadly complementary account of the three key ideas - an intellectual menage a trois with tensions!
