ABSTRACT
I have decided to contribute some concluding remarks rather than a conclusion because the chapters clearly indicate the diversity of approach and interpretation which people take on the issue of global ethics and civil society. Given the range of views expressed here, I feel justified in drawing on my own theoretical and substantive experience to elaborate briefly on some of the themes which these and other chapters explore.
