ABSTRACT

Taken all together, the four Anglicans discussed in this book covered a fairly wide range of topics in their writings: classical and modern philosophy, psychology, the history of Christian thought and doctrine, apologetics, ecumenism and spirituality. I have offered comments en passant on particular aspects of their thought, but now in conclusion I shall attempt to compare and contrast their approaches to broad philosophical and methodological themes, among them reason, experience, revelation, faith and knowledge, world views and metaphysics.
