ABSTRACT

Prevention activity is considered the most important part of high risk reduction, expecting great effective results from there. This prevention activity, most of the time, relies much on probabilistic scenarios, obtained by the collection of large amounts of data related to previous events and by several simulations of the critical events. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has high importance for collecting data and managing information on the global net, as well as the government offices in charge of prevention policy. Connected to these two main factors, it has to be deduced that experts in different fields related to the specific events need to collaborate to exchange their competence trying to solve the problems.
