It begins with a brief discussion about why participants' chose to go to the College, and then move on to consider the teaching and learning dynamics and the impacts that the educational experience has had on participants' thoughts and feelings. For all of the participants, going to Harmony College is such a big investment that they expect to see strong and immediate benefits in professional, financial and personal terms. The international orientation of the College was the primary draw because of the social value that participants ascribe to contact with foreigners to learn something new in a foreign system.
