ABSTRACT
Teaching and learning in the academic disciplines of art history and classical archaeology traditionally rely on the image as the main medium of discourse. In these branches there is hardly any lecture or course session held without darkening the room for a slide show. However, the procedure of slide shows means expenditure of time. It is expensive and limited, because hardly anybody owns about 100,000 slides.
