ReturnOfTheKing: Shakespeare, Dickens? I declare a draw ... I read The Pickwick Papers many years ago and found myself laughing aloud. Hard Times made me angry. A Tale of Two Cities gave me a noble air. Great Expectations and David Copperfield are beyond words. I was shocked when I discovered how young he was when he penned his early works.
