Sexton (18) describes a design methodology for cockpits/flight stations. According to Sexton, the design team should contain a pilot who is intimately familiar with the mission and should remain intact from mission analysis through test and evaluation. He places heavy emphasis on developing mission scenarios. Sexton's design methodology is shown in Figure 3.1. Note that there is no explicit feedback.
