Renewal of Cross-Border Cooperation along the Hungarian-Croatian Border

The 355-kilometer stretch of border between Hungary and Croatia is the most unique and complex portion of the Hungarian national boundary, and is the only section of the nation’s boundaries that has a long historical tradition. For 800 years, in fact, the borderlands in this region were interlinked, rather than segregated, by a boundary line.
