ABSTRACT
I had some useful talks with Philip [Cunliffe-Lister] about political affairs and presently I shall go over and see S.B. I feel that our Trade Union legislation will either make or mar us and I am anxious that we should not make a mistake over it. P. is not really sympathetic about Poor Law but I think my talks with him have somewhat modified his views.
