ABSTRACT

One performer (writer) sits at a computer. She types actions which are immediately projected onto the wall behind her. A second performer (speaker) stands at a microphone, reading aloud the actions the first performer types on the screen. A third performer (actor) performs the actions spoken over the microphone. Every twenty minutes, the source and flow shifts (actor initiates, writer transcribes, speaker reads; then speaker initiates, actor performs, writer transcribes, and so on; they also switch directions). This continues through the night until no one can tell who is initiating or who is following whom, not even the performers. It continues long after the last spectator has left the building and the Monday workday has begun.
