ABSTRACT
Stage evenly illuminated. A table, slightly angled; two chairs at upper left and right corners. Two actors, preferably onstage while audience enters the auditorium. A prop table and a small costume rack, on one side of the stage, may be used by performers. Centered between the actors, slightly downstage, on the table: a pile of index cards. Actors motionless. Gaze at audience, 20 seconds.
