ABSTRACT

It could be a forest, if framed properly, the photo cropped just right. It sits a few yards away from Warren (Red) Carter’s house, a fancy doublewide, almost a real country rambler-style house, white, with a dark blood red trim. A series of cars surround the front side, back, the field: a series of years to the models of the cars; 1970s to recent; white, maroon, and black; a Honda, a Dodge, an old Chevy. The cars and house and semi-manicured field surrounded by thick full green oaks and a few simple wooden utility poles with their power lines. In the side right yard, a small maze of 40–50 young thin Gum trees, with one thicker one, about 3ft wide, that becomes the center.
