ABSTRACT

Square wave voltage source driver is currently the most common fluxgate driving mode, and this method has the following advantages. The square wave generating circuit is the easiest to design in several drivers, in particular the square wave oscillation circuit in integrated fluxgate is easy to implement using CMOS technology and no external components (Ripka, 2003). If using a sine wave excitation method, the accuracy of the multiplier in the circuit of the two harmonic selection method will be biased, thus affecting the accuracy of phase sensitive demodulation. Square wave excitation can be used to achieve a very sophisticated and precise CMOS frequency division technology, better than the sinusoidal excitation. Therefore, the square wave voltage source drive mode has become the main mode of excitation in the fluxgate sensor. The sensitivity of the square wave voltage source excitation for fluxgate probe is particularly important.
