ABSTRACT
It's possible that you are not paying enough attention to the vocabulary of statistics. Like any specialized field, statistics has many technical terms. After they've been introduced, your instructor and textbook author will use many of them over and over in various contexts throughout the semester. You'll get lost if you don't master new terms as soon as you encounter them.
