ABSTRACT

As you can see, there is clearly room for mischief here, given that there are three averages that have different values for the same set of data. A person could choose the average that most suited the point he or she was trying to make and simply call it "the average" number of references to God. As a general rule, be suspicious if someone reports what he or she calls the "average" since the person will be free to choose among the values and report the one that best supports his or her argument.
