ABSTRACT

The treatment of localized bronchiectasis through a thoracotomy has been well-established. Severe adhesions and tissue fragility due to chronic inflammation and infections in patients with bronchiectasis can make thoracoscopic resections very challenging. We report a case of a bilateral sequential uniportal video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (U-VATS) with right middle and lower bilobectomies, followed by left lower lobectomy and lingula segmentectomy for bronchiectasis.
