ABSTRACT

This chapter looks at what it means to learn in many different contexts from formal to informal, through play and gamification. It demonstrates traditional and new educational skills and competencies and models used in school segments from preschool through high school, including Montessori, Whole Child, Waldorf, Anji Play, Reggio, STEAM, project-based learning, design-based learning, problem-based learning, inquiry-based learning and personalized learning. It shows a process for structuring a project for learning and developing, outcomes, tactics and assessment tools.
