Testing Conditions Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory
Administration to large groups requires special measures to ensure maximal cooperation and care in completing the test. In a small group, the person administering the test may function as proctor. However, most examiners prefer to have at least one other person helping. Generally one additional proctor may be needed for each 20 to 25 subjects. Special conditions in the testing room, such as testing younger subjects in a crowded room, may make additional help necessary. It is also usually necessary under such circumstances to have one or more individuals in attendance who are acquainted with the young men and women by name and who can exercise effective control over them to ensure cooperation and proper attention to the test.
