ABSTRACT

This chapter describes the four different sets of resource tools. The first few are personal exercises which can be worked on by individual action set members. The Personal exercises tend to be highly meaningful to people who are in mid-career, who are contemplating a major career or life change or who have seldom been introspective about their own lifestyle and career pattern, but now wish to take stock in order to move on to the next stage in their life and/or career. The second group is ways of using the ongoing dynamic of the set itself. The third group of tools relates to working on the problem, issue or challenge which the set member brings to the set and continues to address in the workplace. The final group of tools is useful for reviewing the set's processes and progress and is therefore helpful for formative evaluation purposes.
