ABSTRACT
As you know from the previous chapter,
assessment is an integral part of teaching.
Classroom teachers are required to make
a wide variety of decisions on a continu-
ing basis, throughout the day, the week,
and the school year. Information resulting
from various assessments is necessary in
sion-making process. It is crucial for all teachers to be cognizant of the interrela-
tionships among assessment and the vari-
ous aspects of teaching. In this chapter,
three models explaining the integration of
assessment and teaching are presented.
