reviewoftheliterature.Additionally,theempirical studiesonlifereviewtherapyarelimitedandshow inconsistentresults.Becauseofthelimitednatureof theempiricalstudiesandthelackofresearchonlife
30reviewtherapywithpatientsincrisisandthehighincidenceofCVAintheUnitedStates,thisresearchstudy soughttoaddtothebodyofknowledgeoflifereview therapyaswellasthatofpsychologicaladjustmentto CVA.Thepurposeofthestudy,therefore,wastode-
35termineiflifereviewtherapycouldproducelowerlevelsofdepressionandhigherlevelsoflifesatisfaction amongindividualswithCVA.
