ABSTRACT

The attitudes and the mindset that drives the behaviors are essentially internal manifestations and they are invisible and covert. But behaviors are external manifestations that are visible and also audible. The importance of people's positive and productive behaviors is boosted by the increase of interpersonal relations inside and outside the organization as people work in teams that connect with other teams, and collaboratively create value with and for their significant stakeholders. This chapter illustrates the model of the 4 behavioral drives that show what drives people to make stretch efforts in order to excel in creating value in the business. To maximize results, business-leaders must combine at least 2 behavioral drivers. Often, they push the rational and result-oriented factors, which are left-brain driven or the relational and the emotional factors, which are right-brain driven. However, different combinations of 2 behavioral drivers are possible.
