ABSTRACT

The strategy fundamentals and the style of the leadership are the prime responsibility of the chief executive officer (CEO) and of his/her executive committee, and the senior management uses them to steer, to share, and to support the life-forces of the organization. As all the corporate capitals, also the organizational capital features 5 capital-components, that is: the strategy fundamentals; the style of the leadership; the systems of management; the structures of the organization; the shared critical capabilities. Having set the corporate resource allocation process, the CEO entrusts the development and the deployment of the business-strategies to the senior management. The corporate DNA and corporate mindset are complex issues, but the CEO and his/her executive committee must articulate them, and communicate them in order to help the life-forces of the organization to understand how they affect the strategic decisions as well as the style of the leadership.
