ABSTRACT

This chapter has a methodological character. It presents the research project on which the book is based. The three main methods used in its framework are described, i.e. the situated interview with the experts, the apprenticeship and video-based observation with the use of GoPro cameras. The chapter presents the advantages of using a head-mounted camera, e.g. the possibility to capture the context of the subject’s perspective or the camera’s ‘invisibility’. Because of the detailed description of the research process, the chapter provides some hints for further studies.
