ABSTRACT

In this chapter we’ll create a number of different graphs in SPSS. By creating graphs, you can quickly determine the general shape of a distribution of scores, the overall variability of the data, and can detect outliers, or scores that are unrepresentative of the majority of the values in the data set. We’ll use SPSS to create a number of commonly used graphs, including bar charts, histograms, scatterplots, and boxplots.
