ABSTRACT
The development of the small and medium-size entrepreneurship influences the level of financial well-being of a country's population and thus increases the quality of life of its citizens. It is stated by the authors that the state strongly supports and regulates the development of the small and medium-size entrepreneurship in regions. This chapter discusses that the state provides a significant support in Russia, with the help of which the activities are fulfilled, which are connected with the creation and improvement of the development conditions of the small and medium-size entrepreneurship. The state program of small and medium-size entrepreneurship (SMB) development is implemented in the Vladimir region. It implies direct addressed support of the business in form of grants from the budget for upgrading of the manufacturing and for fulfillment of the obligations according to the leasing contracts, and a grant support for entrepreneurs beginners.
