ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with the understanding of innovative entrepreneurship ecosystem and contains characteristics of constituents of such ecosystem in Russia. It looks at financial subsystem: It analyzes both conventional tools of financing innovative start-ups and innovations, which are new for innovation infrastructure. Innovation entrepreneurship ecosystem combines interdependent and mutually reinforcing technical and industrial systems, entities, firms, and corresponding management systems necessary and sufficient for the satisfactory performance of pioneering work and innovation implementation. Crowdfunding platforms are a modern tool of innovation start-up ecosystem. Technology platforms play an important role in the state scientific, research, and innovation policy. They are based on private–state partnership for working in the sphere of scientific, research, and innovation development of the Russian economy. The Russian innovation ecosystem includes functioning partnerships and associations of the ecosystem structure elements. One of such associations is the Russian Venture Capital Association (RVCA) established in 1997 as professional association of representatives of venture funds and direct investment funds.
