ABSTRACT
Continuous integration is a critical level on the speed dimension of the Stairway to Heaven as it provides the basis for the subsequent level of continuous deployment and is a major enabler for full adoption of agile work practices. Organizations have difficulty reaping the full benefits of adopting agile development practices without having access to continuous integration.
