ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with the various types of treatments against cancer. The methods of treatment depend on the type and stage of cancer and how advanced it is. The treatment includes surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormone therapy, stem cell therapy, and other alternative treatments, and the possible side effects of these treatments. The latest developments in cancer treatment research are discussed.
