ABSTRACT
The condition of being human involves the potential of manipulating the world around us, which is the reason the world needs to have plasticity. Data has nonspecific plasticity and presents a challenge as material for developing ideas because a majority of the concepts from the past cannot be transferred, but new ones need to be created. Data allows for the expression of many human thoughts, concepts, ideas and feelings, at near zero marginal cost and with less effort than any other material before it. Art is an outward manifestation of an individual that is creative and has emotion to transmit to others as a measure of his emotion. Humanity underwent transformations in the understanding of art, and also in its practice. Data plasticity allows people to participate in the creation of art to a degree in which people were allowed to participate before with other materials.
