ABSTRACT

Bracketing photographer’s shots is a practice that grew out of necessity. Simply put, they attempt to take multiple exposures of the same setup or shot, with each exposure varying slightly from the others. There are a number of variables that photographer can apply to the practice of bracketing, including the number of shots they are taking, the exposure "offset" between each shot, and the starting point for their series of shots. There is one additional dial that the author need to ensure is properly set for his auto-bracketing to work correctly, and photographer may need to set a similar option. The continuous low-speed and continuous high-speed settings are useful when photographer want to shoot a bunch of frames really quickly, such as at a sporting event, but when auto-bracketing is engaged, since both will just shoot what photographers’ve asked for and then stop.
