ABSTRACT
Multivariate analysis is the part of statistics that is concerned with interpreting results obtained by observing several related random variables simultaneously, with each of the variables considered equally important, at least initially. Many of the standard univariate methods, such as those for comparing means of two or more samples, have multivariate generalizations. In addition, there some techniques that have no univariate counterpart (Manly, 2005).
