ABSTRACT

Mathematica is a powerful mathematical programming environment. Mathematica provides numerical, symbolic, and graphical tools in order to assist one in the mathematical aspects of problem solving. Significant uses have been found for Mathematica in investigating and analyzing problems in engineering, mathematics, and physics, as well as economics and other sciences. Mathematica can also be used as a high level programming language. Mathematica will run on most of the major platforms, from Cray supercomputers to desktop systems and laptops.
