ABSTRACT
Internal field dosimetry was originally developed for ionizing radiation [1]. It was based on a relationship between dose (energy absorbed per unit mass) and biological effect. Since the energy absorbed is directly related to the internal EM fields (EM fields inside the object, not EM fields incident upon the object), dosimetry is interpreted to mean the determination of EM fields inside the biological body.
